The base program |

Required for all SOLE PRACTITIONER(S),
LAWYERS practising in association or partnership, and LAWYERS practising in a
LAW CORPORATION, who are providing services in
private practice.
Available to LAWYERS on exemption (e.g. retired LAWYERS, in-house corporate counsel, government
LAWYERS, educators and LAWYERS not in private practice) who opt to purchase the base program coverage.
LAWYERS who qualify and apply for the temporary leave of absence exemption are not required to pay the
insurance premium. For detailed information on the criteria that apply to LAWYERS on temporary leave of absence,

Maximum of $1 million per claim/$2 million in the aggregate coverage for CLAIMS brought against you, as defined in the LAWPRO® Policy.

Standard DEDUCTIBLE is $5,000 per claim,
applicable to claim expenses, indemnity payments and/or costs of repairs together.
DEDUCTIBLE options
- DEDUCTIBLE(s) ranging from $NIL to $25,000 (some restrictions apply) are available.
- DEDUCTIBLE(s) can apply to both claim expenses and indemnity payments, or to indemnity payments only.
- Premiums depend on the DEDUCTIBLE option selected.

Base premium
for 2010 is $2,950
per insured LAWYER, plus any Real Estate and/or Civil Litigation Transaction Levy Surcharges
which are applied as premiums. LAWYERS who do not practise real estate or litigation law can annually exempt themselves
from filing the Real Estate and/or Civil Litigation Levy Surcharges quarterly forms.

Mandatory Innocent Party Coverage
(Associations, Partnerships and LAW CORPORATIONS)
If you are practising in an association, partnership (including general, MDP and LLP partnerships) or a LAW CORPORATION
(with more than one LAWYER), you must purchase the minimum Mandatory Innocent Party Coverage, which protects members of the
public - and thereby you - against the dishonest, fraudulent, criminal, or malicious acts or omissions of present or
former LAWYER partners, associates, and EMPLOYEES of the firm.
