Job Description
Seeking a versatile Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong background in SaaS products and vendor management. This role requires adaptability and a demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with changing priorities. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in understanding business needs, optimizing processes, and ensuring the highest standards of software quality through effective testing methodologies
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather and analyze business requirements for SaaS products.
- Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate software functionality and performance.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure alignment on project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring issues are identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SaaS products post-implementation, including troubleshooting and user support.
- Document business processes, workflows, and testing results to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience working with external vendors and managing vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex systems and processes, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions.
- Solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies, including test planning, test case development, and execution.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently, balancing deadlines and competing priorities.
- A key aspect of the role is to bring a curious mindset, and a quick ability to learn with respect to supporting the digital transformation at LAWPRO. The individual will be required to adapt to new evolving technologies, explore, while keeping the end user experience top of mind.

- An interest in business domain and key business drivers influencing quality of software applications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Specialist, specifically in SaaS environments.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) and/or Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
