About the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) premium discount

  • How do I ensure that I receive the CPD premium discount?

The CPD premium discount is available to all LAWYERS who have participated in LAWPRO-approved programs between September 16, 2011, and September 15, 2012. You will be eligible for a $50 discount on your 2013 insurance premiums (to a maximum of $100 per LAWYER) for each approved CPD program with a risk management component that you completed during this period of time. The online Coaching Centre, a web-based self-coaching tool from practicePRO, qualifies for one $50 CPD premium discount.

To apply for this discount you must have completed the online CPD Declaration indicating which course(s) you took, prior to September 15, 2012. Your 2013 insurance premium will be automatically adjusted to reflect the premium credit for which you are eligible.
