Sue Armstrong is a retired financial services executive, having served most recently as President & CEO of CDSPI, an organization providing advisory, wealth management, insurance and health and wellness services to the Canadian dental community. During her corporate career, she served as a senior executive with Swiss Reinsurance Company Canada, CIBC Insurance and The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company.

Sue is a corporate director, currently serving on the boards of The Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC) and OMA Insurance as Chair of the Board. She previously served on the boards of Securian Canada and McGraw-Hill Ryerson Limited.

Sue is a dedicated volunteer in the health care sector, currently serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Sue’s prior roles included serving as Chair of the Boards of Michael Garron Hospital and the George Hull Centre for Children and Families and as a director of West Park Healthcare Centre and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.

Sue has been recognized by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario with the distinction of the FCPA designation for her corporate and community service. She also holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
