Chris Kresic is a seasoned investment professional with over 37 years of experience in the industry. His career began at the Bank of Canada in 1988, after which he went on to manage bond portfolios for one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurance companies. He later served as Head of Fixed Income and Senior Vice President at Mackenzie Investments. Most recently, Chris retired from his position as Head of Fixed Income and Asset Allocation at Jarislowsky Fraser, where he was also a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Council and, previously, a member of the Executive Committee and the Management Committee.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa, which included a year of study at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1991. Throughout his career, he has been a sought-after voice in national media, appearing on platforms such as BNN, Bloomberg TV, Globe and Mail, and National Post. Under Chris’s leadership, investment teams have won multiple industry awards for their performance in fixed income and balanced funds.
